Talking Murder, Meet-Cutes & Messy Heroines
I love chatting about fictional crime (the kind with oldies music and secrets), small towns with big drama, romance with a wink and a smile, and why readers deserve strong, independent women.
For nearly six years, I’ve been lucky enough to talk story, publishing, and happily-ever-afters on podcasts, interviews, and blogs. Here are a few favorites.

Join me as I had the pleasure of chatting with Meg Nocero on her highly-acclaimed Manifesting with Meg podcast. In her 151st episode, we explored Romance and Its Magical Dance! Works with cozy mysteries, as well as romcoms!

Listen to what happens when five award-winning authors get together to talk about their stories in this Bookish Road Trip Road Show episode called: Cozy Mysteries, We Write. Will clues and secrets be revealed?

Surprise! I'm over 50! In fact, way over 50. And I didn't truly begin my author journey until I was in my mid-60s. Leave it to Julia Daily in her popular podcast, Authors Over 50, to get me to talk about how I got from my earlier career until now!

What better way to Unlock the Beauty within Through Love than to join Meg Nocero on Manifesting with Meg to celebrate Valentine's Day ... and to raise a rose of two to my romantic comedy, What's Not Lost!
Way back when, Heather Skinner and I were both debutantes! Heather with her online book club, where she interviewed authors, and me, as a brand-new author. I owe so much to Heather (and her darling daughter) for helping me launch my author career. Rumor has it, Heather is now an author, too!
There's nothing more special than to have authors supporting authors, not just when we're starting out, but on an ongoing basis. I met Eileen Sanchez while What's Not Said was in production. Lucky for me, she helped show me the ropes. Which we talk about here during this Zoom call.
Soon after I wrote What's Not Said, I discovered the Women's Fiction Writers Association. There, I found unimaginable resources, like Maggie Smith's "Hear Us Roar" podcast. One of the things we talk about is how women want a vast array of stories--not wanting to be pigeonholed into one genre. Fortunately, for me, as I write in two genres!
Jimmy Bennett is such a good interviewer, somehow he got me to talk about the theme of What's Not Said in Books and Beyond on SEC TV in CT. Emotional abuse is a tough subject, but I wrote about it in a humorous fashion, because we all need to laugh a little.
Pat Rullo's Speak Up Talk Radio sponsorship of the Firebird Book Award is recognized internationally for supporting women and children in long-term shelters. I consider it an honor and a privilege to have had all of my books receive a Firebird Award over the last five or six years, and to have been interviewed on three occasions by Ms. Rullo herself. Listen here.
